Our Location

Little Rock K-9 Academy is located in the capital and largest city of Arkansas. Little Rock is located in the central part of the state on the Arkansas River (see picture below). Little Rock K-9 Academy and all of our training sites are less than 5 miles to any of the Historical Sites, Retail Centers and the Entertainment District within the downtown Little Rock area.

The Arkansas State Capitol Building, located in Little Rock, is the seat of government of the state of Arkansas.

The William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park is the presidential library of Bill Clinton located on the Arkansas River east of Interstate 30.

Little Rock Central High School is a high school in Little Rock and was the site of forced school desegregation during the American Civil Rights Movement. The high school and the Central High School Museum is located at the intersection of Daisy L. Gaston Bates Drive (named for the civil rights leader) and Park Street.

The River Market District is most well known for the actual Little Rock ‘’’River Market’’’. The River Market has over the last century been the center of exchange of goods for farmers from across the state of Arkansas and the tradition continues today every Tuesday and Saturday mornings. In 1996, the decision was made to refurbish the area around the River Market into a mix of local businesses, museums, galleries, restaurants, and bars. Today, the River Market District’s restaurants and bars are packed most Friday and Saturday nights and the District is continually hosting many major conventions.

Retailers in Little Rock include Dillards, J.C. Penny, Sears, Belk, Wal-Mart, Target and Kohls. Additionally, several smaller and niche retailers can be found throughout the city, with corporations such as Gap, Inc., Talbots, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. And Chico’s each operating more than one company store concept in Little Rock.
